·         Congratulations to Mitzi Berry, Spanish teacher at Forest Hills High, … who got married during the October 3rd weekend!
·         Congrats to Mateo Tiller, Spanish teacher at Piedmont High who got married during the October 10th weekend!
·         Welcome to Adam Brown, the new Spanish teacher at Weddington High School. Adam is a Weddington grad so it is wonderful that he wants to make world language teaching his career and Weddington his new home.
·         Congrats to Fernando Flores and crew who invited Ana Jeri to teach Latin American dances to PE and Spanish language students at Marvin Ridge High. Ana is part of a group called RW Latin Dance. She co-owns a non-profit group Folclor Colombiano. She teaches typical dances from Perú and Colombia as well as popular dances such as: Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Tango. This group does presentations in different festivals in Charlotte like Festival Latino, Hola Charlotte, The Festival in the Park and others.
